Kennedy (Joseph P. Jr.) Memorial School is built.
1955
[1978] Named for the oldest brother of the future president who was killed in World War II, it is located on Hale Street. It is operated by the Bernardine Franciscan sisters. The school closes in 2006 [2005] and the building is subsequently used by Boston Trinity Academy.
